CCIDC documents plan check denials to ensure compliance with the intent of
the Certified Interior Designers Law.
We need information on: a) reasons for plan check denials, and/or b) what type of
plans The Building Dept. will or will not accept from Certified Interior Designers.
The database will provide CCIDC information on inconsistent interpretations of
the Certified Interior Designers law. If you are denied access to the plan check process, CCIDC will use this confidential information
to work with the appropriate agencies to resolve differences in plan check acceptance criteria.
If you encounter any problems at a Building Department with respect to the plan check
